Kayla Taylor Rodd is a hospitality-focused concept and development strategist working at the intersection of design, real estate and experiential placemaking. With over 18 years of experience shaping hotel, mixed-use and adaptive reuse developments across Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Denver, her work is grounded in the belief that the most successful projects begin with a clear point of view - one that aligns market opportunity, brand identity and financial performance. She has led concept development and execution for projects ranging from $100M to $250M, collaborating closely with ownership groups, operators, and development teams to define what a project should be, who it's for, and how it creates long-term value. Nearing completion with her Masters of Science in Real Estate Development at New York University, she brings formal training in underwriting, development strategy and feasibility analysis to complement her design-led background. Her work focuses on hospitality-driven environments where concept, community and commercial performance are intentionally aligned.
